Dear Steve,
thanks a lot! I started to work today at 7.45 am, had a break at noon / early afternoon and finished 20 minitues ago. Tomorrow I will stand up at 6.30 am, have to drive to school (our 12th class), drive back home, organize MS-Teams-conferences and have to prepare further pdf-files for my pupils. Tomorrow evening I have to be online between 18 and 20 pm, working on later, again (there's a online conference scheduled). It's just horrible - many people here in Germany think, teachers can be lazy due to the closed schools (Covid-19), but to prepare all the stuff you normally teach at the black board as pdf-files or powerpoint-sheets, needs so much time... I could prepare bad to lousy working sheets - I'd have much more time, but I would fell way too bad. The pupils need help to learn at home without normal school lessons.
But: after all that stress I will have these skripts for future. The next pandemic virus doesn't harm me any more ;-).
Well, I don't want to complain - I have a job and I earn money. Other people have to struggle, because they can't work any more at the moment (e.g. musicians, shop owners and employees except super markets and so on - or hotels, restaurants) - due to Covid-19.
Thanks a lot for your empathy! I really hope, your stress level isn't too extreme (you write, you're in a similar position).
My mother still lives and that's the hardest part. Waiting for the telephone call - now it's nearly 30 days. One pill would do the job, but she has to starve, that's the law. But I realized, that I can't interfere and I just have to wait. So now, I am waiting - but it's really o.k. for me now. She nearly always sleeps, it's o.k. ![]()
Greetings,

Servus Oehrling,
Christoph ![]()
